Police Report: Graphic Poster; Late-Night Soccer Game

  • A woman was arrested after it was reported glass was heard breaking and a lot of yelling was occurring at 7:14 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Mccall Street.
  • A theft of a fire pit and fire wood was reported at 7:23 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Harvey Avenue.
  • Change and a GPS were stolen at 8:08 a.m. Tuesday from a vehicle in the 100 block of Cook Street.
  • Graffiti was reported at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of Davidson Road.
  • A person was cited for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle at 10:43 a.m. Tuesday at Manhattan Drive and East Moreland Boulevard.
  • The theft of a live trap was reported at 11:13 a.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of West Park Avenue.
  • A woman reported overhearing her roommate, who was moving out that day, say something about obtaining an extra key to steal her birds at 12:01 p.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of Cardinal Drive.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 12:19 p.m. Tuesday at Oakdale and West Sunset drives.
  • A theft of a camera from an unlocked vehicle was reported at 12:43 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Mccall Street.
  • A woman was arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported at 1:02 p.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of Kensington Drive.
  • Carroll University’s campus safety was advised that a  person who was  protesting abortion via a graphic poster was legally allowed to do so on the sidewalk at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday. Campus safety contacted police to come to Wright Street and North East Avenue after it was reported that some students found the graphic poster offensive.
  • Graffiti was reported at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of West Newhall Avenue.
  • A theft of a patio set was reported at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of River Place Boulevard.
  • A theft was reported at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of East College Avenue.
  • A person was arrested during a traffic stop at 5:52 p.m. Tuesday at Darlene Drive and South West Avenue.
  • An arrest was made at 6:59 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of Harding Avenue after a juvenile trouble incident was reported.
  • A person was arrested at 7:39 p.m. Tuesday after it was reported that  he was to be removed from the 300 block of Sentinel Drive due to drug use.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving after it was reported he was trying to change a tire at 8:16 p.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of South West Avenue.
  • A 10-year-old girl was reportedly swearing at her mother at 8:22 p.m. Tuesday in the  1399 block of Fleetfoot Drive. The girl and her mother were gone before police arrival.
  • A person was arrested after a reckless driver was reportedly swerving and brake checking at 10:18 p.m. Tuesday at Summit Avenue and North Grandview Boulevard.
  • An intoxicated man reluctantly agreed to leave a residence in the 2400 block of Springdale Road at 11:26 p.m. Tuesday. An extremely intoxicated woman was warned to stop letting the man come to the residence after she told them she wanted him to leave due to arguments.
  • People who had turned on their car lights to illuminate the tennis courts at Lowell Park to play soccer were advised at 11:29 p.m. Tuesday in the 2200  block of Michigan Avenue.
  • A man who was found urinating in a doorway in the 300 block of West Main Street at 12:24 a.m. Wednesday was cited.
  • A person was arrested on  a warrant at 1:07 a.m. Wednesday at West Main and Gaspar streets.
  • Pumpkins were smashed at 1:18 a.m. Wednesday at Oxford Road and South Charles Street.
