Police Report: Girlfriend Troubles; Christmas Tree Prankster; Homes Egged

Waukesha Police Department calls from Jan. 4 through Jan. 7.

The following information was supplied by the Waukesha Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Two Girlfriends = Double Trouble

Having two girlfriends can lead to significant trouble.

That’s what one Waukesha man learned at 3:38 p.m. Sunday when it was reported he was suicidal in the 500 block of Wisconsin Avenue. The man broke up with one of his girlfriends, so the woman called police to report he threatened to kill himself and that he was barricaded. Police responded with a large presence because of the threat of violence, shutting down some area streets.

However, when they made contact with the man, the man said he was not suicidal but had broken up with the woman who was upset. His real girlfriend was also mad at him and was making him take down pictures and remove phone numbers from his home. He left the apartment to get a soda during the incident, which is where he was going when police stopped him.

Creative Prankster Prompts Police Call

When a Waukesha woman in the 100 block of Manchester Drive noticed a juvenile taking dead Christmas trees from area neighborhood curbs, she contacted police 12 p.m. Saturday.

The juvenile was piling up about 10 trees in a neighbor’s yard. Police made contact at the residence; the homeowners told police they knew who did it and “it was all in good fun.”
