Police Report: Gift Wrapped Rubber Finger; Booze at Library

Waukesha Police Department calls from Aug. 9 and Aug. 10.

The following calls were reported to the :

  • A rubber finger was found in a shoe box that was gift wrapped and found in a driveway at 7:11 a.m. Tuesday in the 2600 block of Abbey Road.
  • The theft of gas was reported at 12:13 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of West St. Paul Avenue.
  • A 6-year-old reportedly biked into the passenger door of a vehicle at 2:40 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of North Grand Avenue.
  • A retail theft was reported at 3:36 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of East Sunset Drive.
  • An arrest was made after it was reported that there was a combative woman who committed a retail theft at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of East Sunset Drive.
  • A woman will be banned from the Waukesha Public Library after it was reported at 5:04 p.m. Tuesday that the woman comes into the library to drink alcohol. Library employees found the woman’s stash of booze.
  • A man reportedly was “toying” with a butterfly knife and looking strangely at a residence in the 2500 block of Pebble Valley Road at 7:02 p.m. Tuesday. The man was gone before police arrived.
  • A homeless couple living in a car were warned about disorderly conduct after a domestic disturbance was reported at 8:19 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Frame Avenue.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 8:44 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of North Barstow Street.
  • A man was warned by police and removed from a residence after a domestic dispute was reported at 9:49 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of Beechwood Avenue.
  • A woman was given advice about options in dealing with a former boyfriend with whom she felt was using her for sex at 12:16 a.m. Wednesday in the 2000 block of Macarthur Road.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 12:18 a.m. Wednesday during a traffic stop in the 2300 block of Silvernail Road.
  • An attempted vehicle break in was reported at 1:03 a.m. Wednesday in the 1200 block of Swallow Road.
