Police Report: Geese Uninjured in Dart Escapade; Scissors at a Restaurant

Waukesha Police Department calls from April 7 and April 8.

In the case of the juveniles vs. the Frame Park geese, there were no winners and there were no losers.

It was reported at 6:16 p.m. Thursday that three juvenile boys between the ages of 10 and 12 were shooting geese with darts in the 1200 block of White Rock Avenue. The boys had a dart in their hands that they were throwing at geese but when stopped by an officer, one of the boys asked the officer to throw away the dart. The boys were warned.

It should be noted that no geese were injured during the incident.

  • Copper was stolen from units on a roof at 11:39 a.m. Thursday in the 300 block of East Broadway.
  • A car was burglarized and a window was smashed, which was reported to police at 12:46 p.m. Thursday in the 2400 block of Parklawn Drive.
  • Ten cases of soda bottles were stolen from a Pepsi truck in the 200 block of Madison Street between 10:45 a.m. Thursday and 11:20 a.m. Thursday.
  • A car was reported being vandalized at 2:50 p.m. Thursday in the 2800 block of North University Drive.
  • A person was arrested for retail theft at 5:37 p.m. Thursday in the 1200 block of West Sunset Drive.
  • A person was cited for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle and for failing to carry proof of insurance during a traffic stop at 7:25 p.m. Thursday at Oakdale and West Sunset drives.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 1:40 a.m. Friday in the 1900 block of East North Street.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant during a traffic stop at 1:55 a.m. Friday at North Grand Avenue and South Street.
  • A car vs. bike accident was reported at 5:52 a.m. Friday in the 2500 block of North Grandview Boulevard.
  • A woman, who was carrying scissors and had been at a restaurant for more than 12 hours, was warned by police at 6 a.m. Friday to not return to the restaurant in the 2300 block of West St. Paul Avenue. The woman was asked to pay her bill and leave, which she did.
