Police Report: Garbage Bags Ripped; Identity Theft

Waukesha Police Department calls from Oct. 27 and Oct. 28.

  • Garbage bags were ripped through at 8:49 a.m. Thursday in the 2200 block of Patrick Lane.
  • A person was taken to the Waukesha County Jail after he was found violating Huber jail rules by drinking near Frame Park at 9:21 a.m. Thursday. A caller had reported she felt like the man was lurking on the path.
  • A GPS, four bags from Kmart and a bag that had sentimental value was reportedly stolen at 9:25 a.m. Thursday from a vehicle parked in the 700 block of East Newhall.
  • A theft was reported at 9:57 a.m. Thursday in the 200 block of West Main Street.
  • A theft of a car was reported at 11:38 a.m. Thursday in the 2100 block of East Moreland Boulevard.
  • A person was arrested for retail theft at 12:35 p.m. Thursday in the 2200 block of West St. Paul Avenue.
  • A juvenile was cited for truancy at 1:25 p.m. Thursday at Waukesha North High School.
  • A theft from a vehicle was reported at 2:18 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of Mccall Street.
  • A man was arrested at 4:35 p.m. Thursday in the 900 block of North Greenfield Avenue. A minute after police had contact with the man, another man called and asked for police to keep the peace as the arrested man was moving out of the property and may try to take the refrigerator and heater with him. The man was advised that the first man was in police custody.
  • A window was broken during the past week, and it was reported to police at 5:18 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Mccall Street.
  • A 13-year-old girl was arrested after it was reported that she took her grandmother’s car at 6:14 p.m. Thursday in the 1900 block of Sunnyside Drive.
  • A person reported that someone had opened a cell phone account in her name without  her knowledge and that person had not paid the bills at 6:58 p.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of Rockridge Road.
  • A man reportedly became upset when he learned that his ex-girlfriend and their 7-year-old child were staying with another man at 7:34 p.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of White Rock Avenue. The man was warned and moved along from the area.
  • A person was arrested at 8:02 p.m. Thursday at Roberta Park.
  • An arrest was made after an anonymous person reported 10 juveniles were yelling at each other at 10:10 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of West Newhall Avenue.
  • An attempted theft from a locked vehicle was reported at 11:22 p.m. Thursday in the 1500 block of Jefferson Avenue.
  • A person was arrested during a traffic stop at 12:15 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of East College Avenue.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 1:06 a.m. Friday in the 500 block of South Grand Avenue.
  • Two people were arrested after a fight was reported at 1:10 a.m. Friday in the 300 block of Western Avenue.
  • Several cars were egged at 2:44 a.m. Friday in the 700 block of John Street.
  • A person was advised to keep music down at 6:21 a.m. Friday in the 400 block of Wisconsin Avenue.
