Police Report: Fire; Heroin; Thefts; OWI

  • A person called police because they felt that a person who was wearing a sign advertising for Kmart was ruining a beautiful intersection at 11:25 a.m. Friday at Sunset Drive and West Avenue. Police noted the man was not standing in traffic and was lawfully allowed to stand on the sidewalk.
  • An arrest was made after a domestic disturbance was reported at 12:32 p.m. Friday in the 1700 block of Elder Street.
  • A person was warned for loud noise at 1:39 p.m. Friday in the 1800 block of Kensington Drive.
  • A girl was arrested at 4:28 p.m. Friday after juvenile problems were reported in the 2700 block of North Grandview Boulevard where police were told two males and a female were harassing customers.
  • A driver was cited and released for driving the wrong way in traffic at 5:26 p.m. Friday at Oakdale Drive and Highway 59.
  • A person was arrested for theft at 5:35 p.m. Friday in the 1500 block of Arcadian Avenue.
  • A theft of prescription medication was reported at 6:53 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of North Hartwell avenue.
  • An arrest was made after a domestic disturbance was reported at 7:31 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Jackson Court.
  • An arrest was made after it was reported at 9:01 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of North Hartwell Avenue that an intoxicated neighbor kept coming into the residence.
  • Two men were reportedly fighting at 9:33 p.m. Friday in the 2000 block of Cliff-alx Court South. The men were gone upon police arrival.
  • A heroin overdose was reported at 10:04 p.m. Friday in the 1000 block of Motor Avenue.
  • An intoxicated woman was upset at 10:49 p.m. Friday after a man asked her to have sex with him and her boyfriend said he didn’t care in the 100 block of West Broadway. Police were asked to remove the woman, instead everyone was advised to stay in their rooms for the evening.
  • An arrest was made after a woman reported an attempted sexual assault at midnight in the 1300 block of Camden Way.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 2:22 a.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of East North Street.
  • Four arrests were made at 2:53 a.m. Saturday after a report of a car being on fire that spread to a house was made in the 1000 block of White Rock Avenue.
