Police Report: Fight Involving Gang Member, Juvenile Burning Paper

Waukesha Police Department calls from Feb. 24 and Feb. 25.

The following calls were made to the

  • A person was arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported at 9:16 a.m. Friday in the 300 block of West North Street.
  • A manager reported firing a person and that person threw a cup of coffee at the manager at 2:22 p.m. Friday in the 1500 block of Paramount Drive.
  • A laptop was stolen from the 800 block of North Barstow Street. The incident was reported at 2:41 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of North Barstow Street.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 5:05 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of John Street.
  • A person was arrested after a car accident with an injury was reported at South Hine Avenue and Dopp Street at 5:07 p.m. Friday.
  • Police spoke with a juvenile girl who had been burning things in her room with a hair tool because she was frustrated. The parents reported the incident at 10:12 p.m. Friday in the 1300 block of Josephine Street.
  • A fight was reported at 11:22 p.m. Friday in the hallway at a hotel in the 2800 block of Golf Road. Police called a cab for the intoxicated people. The woman was upset because she wanted to have a romantic evening with her boyfriend but could not because they were interrupted several times by people knocking on their door.
  • A large-scale underage alcohol party was reported at 11:41 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of Mccall Street. The party attendees cleared out of the residence before police arrived because they heard the call through the police scanner. Police made contact with some individuals, had cases of beer dumped out and the house residents were cited for a noise violation.
  • A man who had warrants out for his arrest was taken into custody at 12:08 a.m. Saturday at the homeless shelter in the 1700 block of Northview Road.
  • A person was arrested after it was reported the person was wiggling a door knob of an apartment at 12:38 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of West Newhall Avenue.
  • A caller was re-assured by police after the caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked on the street at 12:41 a.m. Saturday in the 2800 block of 2800 block of Woodridge Lane. Police made contact with the vehicle’s driver, who told police he had pulled over to talk on the cell phone.
  • A fight that involved a possible gang member spilled out into the street, blocking lanes of traffic at 1:38 a.m. Saturday in the 700 block of West St. Paul Avenue. The individuals involved fled the store before police arrived. The bartender where the fight started told police it was not a physical fight but the altercation started after a man with a gang affiliation walked into the bar and she asked him to leave.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at Delafield Street and Buena Vista Avenue at 2:29 a.m. Saturday.
  • A person shouted “go back to Africa” during a verbal argument with an employee and a customer at 2:37 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of East Broadway. Neither person desired a complaint.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 3:10 a.m. Saturday at West Newhall and South Grand avenues
  • A chair was thrown through a glass door at 6:26 a.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of Bonnie Lane.
