Police Report: Engagement Ring Dispute; Identity Theft; Cocaine and Bail Jumping

  • An arrest was made after a domestic disturbance was reported at 6:56 a.m. Monday in the 1800 block of Dolphin Drive.
  • Graffiti was reported at 8:36 a.m. Monday in the 200 block of South Street.
  • An identity theft incident was reported at 9:05 a.m. Monday in the 1200 block of Market Place.
  • A man was arrested after it was reported at 9:34 a.m. Monday that he broke into his ex-wife’s house in the 200 block of Cardinal Drive.
  • A person was arrested during a traffic stop at 5:43 p.m. Monday at Maple and West College avenues.
  • Two cement patio blocks were reported stolen at 5:53 p.m. Monday in the 1500 block of Big Bend Road.
  • A person reported that clothes and shoes were stolen while she had guests over at 6:54 p.m. Monday in the 1900 block of Bonnie Lane.
  • A person was arrested at 7:10 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of Madison Street.
  • An arrest was made after it was reported people were smoking marijuana at 7:54 p.m. Monday at Horeb Springs Park.
  • A man reported at 10:58 p.m. Monday that he wanted the rings he gave his former fiancée when he proposed to her back in the 1500 block of Big Bend Road. The woman, however, had sold the rings. Police advised the man it was a civil issue because he had given the woman the rings as a gift.
  • An intoxicated juvenile who had left an underage drinking party was found in the woods in the 1300 block of East Wabash Avenue. The teen was arrested.
  • A man was arrested at 2:12 a.m. Tuesday for bail jumping after he contacted police to report that his wife was using cocaine in the 1400 block of Big Bend Road. The man reported that they had a verbal altercation. Police located drug paraphernalia in the house but both parties were uncooperative and would not say who owned the paraphernalia.
  • A person was arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported at 3:52 a.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of Big Bend Road.
