Police Report: Early Morning Football; OWI Arrests

Waukesha Police Department call log from April 23 and April 24

A police officer who was on the way to work at 10:23 p.m. Saturday when the officer spotted a man who was acting odd at a gas station in the 2500 block of North Grandview Boulevard. The officer believed the man was using drugs and reported that the person had been in a bathroom for 10 minutes.

Officers responded and arrested the man.

  • Police were asked to respond at 9:12 p.m. Saturday to the 2300 block of East Street for a report of a man carrying a bottle and walking up and down the street talking to himself for three hours. The man was gone before police arrived.
  • An arrest was made after it was reported at 11:57 p.m. Saturday that a person was attempting to break into a residence in the 100 block of East Park Avenue.
  • A bar in the 400 block of Delafield Street was warned for a loud noise violation at 12:15 p.m. Sunday.
  • Employees who were playing football outside of a restaurant at 1:34 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of North Grand Avenue were advised to keep down the noise levels.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 1:38 a.m. Sunday at West Broadway and Clinton Street.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 1:51 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of West Sunset Drive.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 2:10 a.m. Sunday at Arcadian Avenue and Pleasant Street.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 2:41 a.m. Sunday during a traffic stop at North West Bartow and East North streets.
