Police Report: Dummy Scares Woman; Mustard all Over Houses

The offender who scared a Waukesha woman Tuesday night has been seen lurking around in Waukesha. In fact, Waukesha Patch shot a when police were investigating a domestic disturbance downtown.

A dummy that has been seen in downtown Waukesha frightened a woman who was walking past the car in the 300 block of East Main Street at 9:55 p.m. Tuesday. The woman reported that a disfigured person that did not have any blood on it looked “really messed up.” The woman told police dispatch that she was too scared by what she saw that she could not investigate further. Police responded and determined it was a dummy.

  • A GPS was stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 7:07 a.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of Frame Avenue.
  • About $5 was stolen from a vehicle that was parked in the 1600 block of Mowhawk Lane at 7:08 a.m. Tuesday.
  • An 80-foot portion of a chain link fence was removed, which was reported at 12:44 p.m. Tuesday in the 1500 block of Pearl Street.
  • A grill was reported stolen at 2:02 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of West Moreland Boulevard.
  • Juveniles reportedly set up a ping pong table and lawn chairs in traffic at 7:16 p.m. Tuesday in the 2800 block of Coventry Lane. The parents were advised by police.
  • A man was taken into custody and admitted to the hospital after a mental evaluation after it was reported he was flashing people at 10:16 p.m. Tuesday at East Broadway and North East Avenue.
  • A creamy soup was all over the inside of a mailbox at 10:21 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of Cambridge Avenue.
  • The theft of a for sale sign was reported from a front lawn in the 100 block of Randall Street at 11:20 p.m. Tuesday.
  • A woman reported her ex was trying to get into the residence at 11:26 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of John Street.
  • A man was warned about loitering at 1:35 a.m. Wednesday  at the Waukesha Metro Transit parking structure in the 200 block of East St. Paul Avenue. The man was sleeping as he was making his way from New Jersey to California.
  • Houses, cars and garages in the 700 block of Cheyenne Drive were sprayed with mustard at 6:22 a.m. Wednesday. The offending sauce was cleaned up with a garden hose and no damage was reported.
