Police Report: Drunken Driving Arrests, Woman's Diamond Ring Stolen

Waukesha Police Department calls from Feb. 19 to Feb. 21.

The following calls were made to the :

  • A person in the 2000 block of Madera Street reported at 11:01 a.m. Saturday having a Social Security number stolen.
  • A man reported at 1:14 p.m. Saturday that his roommate put sugar in his gas tank in the 1100 block of Pearl Street.
  • A woman reported leaving a diamond ring on the counter in the locker room at 3:11 p.m. Saturday at Waukesha South High School, 401 E. Roberta Ave., and that when she returned, the ring was gone.
  • A group of homeless men were found hanging out in a garage of a vacant home at 4:14 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of Pleasant Street. The property owner did not filed a complaint.
  • A group of children who were reported to possibly be doing something with fire or flames at 6:58 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of East Sunset Drive were warned about trespassing and the dangers of climbing the roof of an outbuilding at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.
  • A woman reported a man was parked in a car and staring at her at 10:20 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of Wisteria Lane. The driver took the vehicle around the block and returned to the original parking spot. The car had left the area before police arrived.
  • An intoxicated man was reported to be laying in traffic on North Street near Madison Street and attempting to pull his pants up at 11:04 p.m. Saturday.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant after a woman reported a man was banging on her window at 11:32 p.m. Saturday. The man, who the woman knew, was gone before police arrived and the woman was advised about restraining orders.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 1:51 a.m. Sunday at Waukesha Avenue and East Moreland Boulevard.
  • A woman was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving after it was reported she possibly hit a barricade at 1:53 a.m. Sunday at Badger and West Sunset drives.
  • A domestic disturbance was reported at 2:51 a.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of Big Bend Road.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 2:54 a.m. Sunday at Navajo Lane and Fleetfoot Drive.
  • A man was arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported at 4:27 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Hinman Avenue.
  • A person was injured in an accident at 9:59 a.m. Sunday at West St. Paul and South Washington avenues.
  • A woman was reported to be turning on hot water out of spite against the neighbors at 1:24 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of Lambeth Road.
  • A woman who has a history of not paying hotel and restaurant bills was cited for trespassing at a hotel at 1:57 p.m. Sunday in the 2800 block of Golf Road.
  • A woman was advised about loitering at 7:43 p.m. Sunday after she was found sleeping under a stairwell in the 200 block of East St. Paul Avenue.
  • A woman was moved along after a business asked for her to be removed at 11:45 p.m. Sunday. The woman told police she was staying at the establishment to prevent robberies.
  • An arrest was made after a suspicious man was reported to be near vehicles at 1:24 a.m. Monday in the 1200 block of Lambeth Road.
  • A juvenile was arrested around 6 a.m. after police saw him running around at 3:22 a.m. Monday in the 2000 block of South Grand Avenue. The teen was arrested for municipal obstructing an officer and for a curfew violation. The teen was running through back yards, and when police attempted to pull over near him with lights and sirens, he ran faster, losing his hat.
  • A caller reported finding a 5-year-old child outside a residence at 4:46 a.m. Monday in the 900 block of North Greenfield Avenue. The child told the caller that his mother had left for work and that he had been locked out of the house. The caller checked the house and the door was not locked. An incident report was filed but one squad car was told to disregard the call as the mother was on scene.
