Police Report: Drug Robbery; 'Gloom and Doom'

  • A burglary to a vacant house was reported at 8:30 a.m. Monday in the 400 block of Wisconsin Avenue.
  • A man who reportedly was making bizarre statements about “doom and gloom” to bus passengers and pedestrians at Waukesha Metro Transit, 212 E. St. Paul Ave., was moved along and warned to stop harassing citizens at 9:22 a.m. Monday.
  • Two people were arrested after a theft of video games was reported at 12:49 p.m. Monday in the 2200 block of West St. Paul Avenue.
  • A man was taken into protective custody after threatening to jump off the bridge in Frame Park by the children’s area at 4:46 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of West Moreland Boulevard.
  • A person reported that the upstairs neighbor kept throwing water off the balcony at 6:12 p.m. Monday in the 2100 block of Kensington Drive.
  • A person was arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported at 6:20 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of South Grand Avenue.
  • A man who was parking his vehicle in the 2500 block of Minot Lane as a way to keep his adult daughter from asking him for money in the 600 block of Cambridge Avenue was warned about overnight parking at 6:59 p.m. Monday.
  • The theft of two bottles of liquor was reported at 7:23 p.m. Monday in the 900 block of North Barstow Street.
  • A person was arrested after it was reported that a man was robbed at gunpoint while attempting to purchase marijuana at 10:18 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of Mountain Avenue.
  • Children reportedly attempted to steal patio furniture at 10:22 p.m. Monday in the 1300 block of Garfield Avenue.
  • People reportedly were having sex in a vehicle at 12:05 a.m. Tuesday in the 1700 block of Elder Street. The individuals were warned after police could not confirm what they were doing.
  • A person was arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported at 12:13 a.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of White Rock Avenue.
  • Five people reportedly were running through a backyard carrying a microwave or a TV at 1:43 a.m. Tuesday in the 1100 block of Linden Street. The people were gone before police arrived.
  • Two arrests were made after it was reported that a person was carrying construction equipment at 2:41 am. Tuesday at Mccall Street and North East Avenue.
  • A suspicious object was reported being in front of a downtown restaurant at 5:52 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of West Main Street. A gas grill and cover were found under the blanket.
  • Two sets of tires were reportedly stolen at 6:02 a.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of Baird Street.
