Police Report: Disorderly Conduct, OWI, Playing Chicken with Train

  • A juvenile was reportedly uncontrollable at 12:08 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Sheffield Road.
  • Three arrests were made at 1:01 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of West Main Street after dispatch observed them cutting down signs and urinating on vehicles.
  • A person was cited for underage drinking at 2:17 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Lake Street.
  • A man thought his car was stolen at 2:44 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Williams Street but his girlfriend had the car removed because he was intoxicated.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 2:45 a.m. Sunday after it was reported a vehicle had gone into a ditch at Highway 59 and Saylesville Road.
  • A window was smashed at 12:06 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Carriage Drive.
  • A person was cited for several violations after a hit-and-run accident was reported at 1:51 p.m. Sunday at East Moreland Boulevard and East Main Street. The person told police he was unaware that he had hit a vehicle.
  • A person was warned about operating an ATV on the sidewalk at 2:09 p.m. Sunday in the 1300 block of Harris Drive.
  • A group of teenagers were reportedly playing chicken with a train at 4:03 p.m. Sunday at Cutler Street and North Grand Avenue.
  • A resident assistant who was citing a person for alcohol in the residence hall at 4:13 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of South East Avenue reported that the individual involved was making sexually suggestive dance moves toward her behind her back. The man was later apologetic because he had been drunk.
  • A house and garage were egged at 4:43 p.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of Glacier Ridge Road.
  • A person was arrested after a harassment incident was reported at 5:28 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of East College Avenue.
  • A person was arrested at 10:51 p.m. Sunday in the 2000 block of Oakdale Drive after it was reported he was reusing to leave a residence.
  • Suspicious people were reported at 11:18 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Bank Street.
  • A suspicious vehicle was reported at 5:50 a.m. Monday in the 800 block of Progress Avenue.
  • A juvenile was arrested and taken into shelter care at 6:20 a.m. Monday in the 400 block of Darlene Drive after the juvenile’s mom reported finding a male in the juvenile’s bedroom.
