Police Report: Damaged Pool Cover; Burglaries

  • A woman was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving after it was reported she staggered out of a building at 9:08 a.m. Wednesday and into a car in the 800 block of North East Avenue. The woman reportedly was having a hard time standing up before getting behind the wheel.
  • A burglary was reported at 11:24 a.m. Wednesday in the 2000 block of Kensington Drive.
  • Damage to a swimming pool cover at a house that is in foreclosure was reported at 11:56 a.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of Cottonwood Drive.
  • A person was arrested at 12:06 p.m. Wednesday after the person was found driving with a different front plate at Highway 59 and West St. Paul Avenue.
  • A burglary was reported at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 2000 block of Norton Avenue.
  • A burglary was reported at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of South Hartwell Avenue.
  • A person was arrested after it was reported that two men were near the scrap metal at 11:48 p.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of Progress Avenue. The suspects reportedly lead police on a foot chase before one of them ended up in police custody.
  • A vehicle hit a tree at 12:50 a.m. Thursday at East Laflin Avenue and South Charles Street.
  • A person was arrested at 12:52 a.m. Thursday in the 1900 block of East Main Street.
  • Two people were arrested on warrants at 3:35 a.m. Thursday in the 2500 block of Pebble Valley Road after it was reported that people were in a car with the stereo on at a loud level.
