Police Report: Damaged Christmas Lights, OWIs; Sugar in Gas Tank

  • A person was arrested at 9:27 a.m. Friday at White Rock Avenue and Niagara Street.
  • A fight was reported at 12:11 p.m. Friday at Waukesha North High School.
  • A theft was reported at 12:12 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of West Main Street.
  • A person was arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported at 12:14 p.m. Friday at East Racine Avenue and Highway 164.
  • A person reportedly ordered dog meat and then threatened another person at 12:47 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of West Main Street.
  • A person was reportedly rummaging through dumpsters at 1:40 p.m. Friday in the 1900 block of Madera Street. The person was gone before police arrived.
  • An arrest was made after a wallet was stolen at 3:39 p.m. Friday at the Waukesha Public Library.
  • A Jeep had its tires slashed at 4:08 p.m. Friday in the 1200 block of Swallow Road.
  • A theft of a spare tire from an SUV was reported at 4:37 p.m. Friday in the 70 block of Columbia Avenue.
  • Christmas lights were damaged at 5:46 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of Sylvan Terrace.
  • Two people were reportedly loitering in a parking lot at 7:18 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of West Sunset Drive. They were advised to wait on the public sidewalk while waiting for their friends.
  • A person was arrested at 7:57 p.m. Friday during a traffic stop in the 900 block of North Barstow Street.
  • A person reported at 8:01 p.m. Friday that someone had put sugar in her vehicle’s gas tank in the 1900 block of Cardinal Drive.
  • A fight was reported at 9:09 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of East Sunset Drive.
  • A woman reported at 10:18 p.m. Friday that an unknown man was attempting to enter her residence in the 2400 block of Napa Trail. The man was gone when police arrived, but police checked the area.
  • $41 was found laying in the street at 11:15 p.m. Friday in the 1400 block of Big Bend Road.
  • A vehicle was reportedly weaving and driving under the speed limit at 11:33 p.m. Friday at West St. Paul Avenue and West Sunset Drive. Police pulled over the 17-year-old driver, who was on his way home. The teen was being cautious with his driving due to seeing many deer on the road.
  • People were advised after a loud party was reported at 11:42 p.m. Friday in the 1100 block of White Rock Avenue.
  • An intoxicated man was reportedly stumbling in the street at 12:35 a.m.  Saturday in the 900 block of West St. Paul Avenue. The man took a cab ride home.
  • A theft of four Green Bay Packers tickets was called into the police department, but officers noted that the caller was going to provide more information later at 1:01 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of North West Barstow Street.
  • A person was arrested at 2:05 am. Saturday on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at West St. Paul Avenue and West Sunset Drive.
  • A man who was a concealed carry permit holder agreed to voluntary turn over his weapons that were in his vehicle during a traffic stop at 2:15 a.m. Saturday at Madison and Caldwell streets. The man, who had a .06 percent blood alcohol concentration, had three intoxicated passengers in the vehicle. The four people walked the rest of the way home and the weapons were returned to the man in the morning.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 2:23 a.m. Saturday at North Grand and East Park avenues.
  • A person was arrested at 2:46 a.m. Saturday for a second drunken driving offense during a traffic stop at North Hartwell Avenue and East Main Street.
  • A person reported at 2:50 a.m. Saturday that her intoxicated ex-boyfriend was pounding on the door in the 2100 block of Macarthur Road. He was gone before police arrived.
  • An arrest was made after a person reportedly was in a dispute about paying a cab driver at 3:20 a.m. Saturday in the 2500 block of North Grandview Boulevard.
  • A person was arrested on a third drunken driving offense at 3:57 a.m. Saturday after hitting a pole at Madison Street and South Moreland Boulevard.
