Police Report: Counting Change; Cutting Vacuum Cleaner Cord

Waukesha Police Department calls from Jan. 18 and Jan. 19.

  • A man was reportedly standing in the roadway yelling at cars to slow down at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday at South East and East Roberta avenues.
  • A citation was given after a juvenile trouble incident was reported at 8:50 a.m. Wednesday at Waukesha North High School.
  • A man was reportedly talking loud and yelling in an apartment at 4:39 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of Corrina Boulevard. Police spoke with the man, who was frustrated because he was counting change and kept losing count. Police noted the noise was not unreasonable and the man and the caller were advised about the situation.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 4:41 p.m. Wednesday at the Waukesha Police Department.
  • A juvenile was taken into custody at 5:24 p.m. Wednesday after it was reported he was causing problems, including cutting the cord to a vacuum cleaner so his siblings couldn’t vacuum in the 1000 block of Delafield Streeet.
  • A person was detained on a warrant at 5:37 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of South Street.
  • A man was warned for disorderly conduct at 8:18 p.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of Big Bend Road.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 12:38 a.m. Thursday at South Prairie and West College avenues.
  • A person was arrested for an absolute sobriety violation after a reckless vehicle was reported at 1:29 a.m. Thursday at West Main and North Barstow streets.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 2:17 a.m. Thursday at Delafield Street and West Washington Avenue.
