Police Report: Cookie Cutter Argument; Truancy

Waukesha Police Department calls from Oct. 14 and Oct. 15.

  • A 15-year-old girl was refusing to go to school at 7:39 a.m. Friday in the 1400 block of Cottonwood Drive. The girl agreed to go to school.
  • A burglary was reported at 9:11 a.m. Friday in the 300 block of Carroll Street.
  • A person hit the accelerator instead of the brakes at 9:49 a.m. Friday and accelerated through the garage and into the house in the 2700 block of Oakcrest Drive. The driver was given a self-accident report.
  • A theft of a car from a dealership was reported at 10:02 a.m. Friday in the 1400 block of East Moreland Boulevard.
  • A theft of mail was reported at 12:41 p.m. Friday in the 1200 block of West Sunset Drive.
  • Four students were cited for truancy and possession of tobacco products at 12:43 p.m. Friday at Ridgewood and Wedgewood drives.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 12:59 p.m. Friday in the 1300 block of Sentry Drive.
  • A woman reported she witnessed a drug deal at 1:33 p.m. Friday and that the suspect was following her around at the Waukesha Public Library.
  • Two people were arrested – one on a warrant – after it was reported at 3:16 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of Cambridge Avenue
  • An 8-year-old White Rock Elementary School student at 3:37 p.m. Friday was threatening suicide and said there was a gun under the student’s bed at home. Police determined the student was seeking attention and the student admitted that the student was lying about a gun.
  • A group of juveniles reportedly were hanging on to a back of a bus while skateboarding at 5:20 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of East St. Paul Avenue. The juveniles were warned that if they had any more police contact, they would be arrested because it was the second
  • An elderly couple was reportedly arguing over a cookie cutter at 5:33 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of Lemira Avenue.
  • A woman in the 300 block of Barney Street reported at 5:41 p.m. Friday that her 8-year-old child was uncontrollable. The woman was given options to deal with her son.
  • A man reportedly was trying to gain entry to a residence at 6:46 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Maple Way South. The man had threatened his family members inside the residence in the past. They had a restraining order against the man but it had not yet been served. The man was found and the restraining order was served.
  • A man was arrested at 7:46 p.m. Friday after it was reported he was choking his wife in the 300 block of West Newhall Avenue.
  • Girls reportedly threw eggs at a neighbor’s door in a dare at 8:07 p.m. Friday in the 1500 block of South West Avenue. The girls were escorted to the door to clean up the mess and their parents were contacted.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving after it was reported at 8:09 p.m. Friday in the 2100 block of Silvernail Road that a car was driving the wrong way on Silvernail Road and nearly hit a car head-on.
  • Employees reportedly thwarted a retail theft at 8:50 p.m. Friday at Walmart, but a threat was made.
  • A man reportedly was in a caller’s yard with a dog at 8:52 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Fairview Avenue. When asked what the man was doing, the man reportedly told the
  • A man reported at 9:42 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of East St. Paul Avenue that his bicycle lights were stolen.
  • A vehicle was egged and covered with silly string at 11:37 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of North West Avenue.
  • A person who had mental problems asked to speak with officers about problems at his residence at 12:55 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of West Main Street. The man told police his neighbor slandered his reputation and killed his wild, baby owl. The man was advised to contact his landlord, but the man told police his landlord was having affairs with the majority of the tenants. The man told police he wanted to be a “force of healing.”
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 1:21 a.m. Saturday at South Grand and West College avenues.
  • Two arrests were made after an intoxicated man was reportedly fighting with his girlfriend and his mother at 1:32 a.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Fleetfoot Drive.
  • One person was arrested after a loud fight was reported at 1:58 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of West Broadway.
  • People reportedly were being loud at 2:05 a.m. Saturday in the 2400 block of Springdale Road. The people were gone before police arrived.
  • A person reported at 2:24 a.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Rose Court that subjects were attempting to get into a residence. Police detained one person, soon learned there was a misunderstanding with an intoxicated subject and police called a taxi to the area.
  • A caller reported that a male friend had dropped off two jerseys while wearing a Darth Vader mask at 3:59 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Elizabeth Street. The caller wanted police to check the well being of the person, but police did not locate him.
  • Two people who were making out at 6:07 a.m. Saturday were advised about loitering in the 900 block of Northview Road. An intoxicated person was advised to not drive, but it was the sober person who was driving.
