Police Report: Cigarettes Stolen; BB Gun Incident

  • A man was arrested after it was reported that he was not getting off the bus and that he smelled in the 200 block of East St. Paul Avenue.
  • A person was arrested at 9:21 a.m. Friday after a suspicious person was reportedly stock piling merchandise in the 100 block of West Main Street.
  • Five vehicles had windows smashed out and batteries stolen at 9:36 a.m. Friday in the 300 block of West Sunset Drive.
  • A theft from a recycling bin was reported at 9:42 a.m. Friday at Mandan Drive and Cambridge Avenue.
  • A restraining order violation was reported at 10:39 a.m. Friday in the 1900 block of South Grand Avenue.
  • A 9-year-old girl was reportedly being uncontrollable at 2 p.m. Friday in the 1300 block of Fleetfoot Drive.
  • Juveniles were cited for retail theft of BB guns and for discharging the BB guns in the city at 2:10 p.m. Friday after it was reported they were shooting at other children.
  • The neighborhood children complained to a woman in the 2800 block of Sussex Lane the a suspicious van was driving through the area at 2:12 p.m. Friday. The woman thought it could be possibly a sex offender, but no report was filed
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 2:53 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of East Main Street.
  • A person was arrested at 3:47 p.m. Friday in the 1500 East Moreland Boulevard after a theft of Prilosec was reported.
  • A person was detained by police on a warrant at 4:36 p.m. Friday in the 1400 block of South West Avenue.
  • A person was arrested at 5:50 p.m. Friday in the 2700 block of North University Drive after a smell of marijuana was reported.
  • A possible intoxicated driver was reported at 6 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of West St. Paul Avenue.
  • Money was stolen from Halloween cards at 6:14 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of South University Drive.
  • A child was hit by a car at 6:34 p.m. Friday in the 1700 block of Oakdale Drive. The call log does not indicate the severity of injuries or if the child was injured.
  • An arrest was made after a fight was reported at 7:05 p.m. Friday at Horeb Spring Park.
  • Two juveniles were arrested for retail theft at 7:09 p.m. Friday in the 2200 block of West St. Paul Avenue.
  • A couple who reportedly are unable to pay for a divorce was arguing for a long time at 8:55 p.m. Friday in the 2400 block of Parklawn Drive. They were advised to keep the noise down.
  • A counterfeit $50 bill was reported at 9:11 p.m. Friday in the 2300 block of East Moreland Boulevard.
  • A father and his daughter were arguing at 9:37 p.m. Friday in the 2300 block of Imperial Lane about the daughter’s addiction to prescription drugs after they were out drinking at a bar.
  • Two families who were using a karaoke machine at 10:33 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of North Moreland Boulevard were advised to keep the noise down.
  • A car was stolen at 11:46 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of West Sunset Drive.
  • A person was arrested and cited at 12:19 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Williams Street.
  • A man reportedly was acting like a bouncer at 12:50 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of West Main Street. The person had peeled the plastic film off of a  driver’s license before leaving the area.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 1:12 a.m. Saturday after a vehicle jumped a curb at West St. Paul and Mountain avenues.
  • A person was arrested during a traffic stop at 1:44 a.m. Saturday at Glendon Way and Summit Avenue.
  • People reportedly were arguing at 2:55 a.m. Saturday at West Moreland Boulevard and Airport Road after a woman found porn on her boyfriend’s computer.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 2:56 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of West St. Paul Avenue.
  • A person was arrested during a traffic stop at 3:33 a.m. Saturday at White Rock Avenue and East Moreland Boulevard.
  • Two intoxicated were moved inside after it was reported that they were being loud at 4:36 a.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of Tomahawk Lane. Police noted the noise was not excessive.
  • A person was arrested and cited after it was reported at 4:52 a.m. Saturday that a person had urinated in a hallway in the 100 block of West Broadway.
  • Two people were arrested after the theft of cigarettes was reported at 6:23 a.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of East Moreland Boulevard.
