Police Report: Car Windows Smashed; Theft of Liquor

Waukesha Police Department calls from May 7 and May 8.

Car windows were smashed Saturday while parked in the same neighborhood, according to calls made to the Waukesha Police Department.

A vehicle had its window broken while parked at 6:37 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Harrison Avenue. A brick was thrown through a window of a car at 9:38 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Harrison Avenue.

  • A person was arrested for a retail theft at 9:55 a.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of East Moreland Boulevard.
  • The theft of a bike from an unlocked garage was reported at 10:13 a.m.  Saturday in the 1100 block of Baxter Street.
  • A motorcycle accident was reported at 10:26 p.m. Saturday at Meadowbrook Road and Summit Avenue.
  • A person stole liquor but used a savings card in the process, so the grocery store provided the name and address of the suspect to police at 12:05 p.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of East Moreland Boulevard.
  • A woman was arrested for bail jumping at 4:23 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of South Grand Avenue after a car was reported to have broken windows.
  • Arrests were made after a theft was reported at 8:13 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Ellis Street.
  • An intoxicated man was arrested for a bail violation at 9:58 p.m. Saturday after police were requested for a welfare check in the 300 block of Wisconsin Avenue.
  • A person was arrested after the theft of coins from a jar and a check was reported at 11:51 p.m. Saturday  in the 2700 block of North University Drive.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 2:33 a.m. Sunday at East Park Avenue and North Barstow Street.
  • A person was arrested during a traffic stop at 2:52 a.m. Sunday at Martin and South streets.
  • A person was arrested after a domestic disturbance involving an intoxicated man chasing his girlfriend outside was reported at 4:26 a.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Delafield Street.
