Police Report: Car Windows Damaged; Selling a Stereo

Waukesha Police Department calls from Feb. 19 and Feb. 20.

The following information was supplied by the Waukesha Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

  • A car’s windows were shot out with a BB gun overnight. The incident was reported at 7:58 a.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Pearl Street.
  • Two vehicles were damaged at 8:52 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Carriage Drive.
  • A person was arrested for disorderly conduct at 8:57 a.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Pewaukee Road.
  • A man was rambling about Homeland Security and reported at 8:57 a.m. Sunday that he feared someone was going to get him or blow up his car in the 100 block of West North Street where his car was parked the night before. The man was asked by police why he didn’t call the Saturday night. The man told police he called Town of Brookfield police, who told him he was “crazy.”
  • Fraudulent purchases on a credit card was reported at 9:18 a.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of Waterview Lane.
  • A car window was shot out at 10:49 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of North Greenfield Avenue.
  • Graffiti was reported at 11:33 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of East Broadway.
  • A sign was stolen at 1:16 p.m. Sunday in the 1900 block of Madison Street.
  • A man was found sleeping on the stairs at 1:25 p.m. Sunday at the Waukesha Public Library.
  • A man reported at 2:31 p.m. Sunday that he asked another man to help carrying his groceries home in the 100 block of West North Street. When the man went to pay the other man, the other man stole his wallet and ran from the area.
  • A person was arrested during a traffic stop at 4:11 p.m. Sunday at Chapman Drive and Wisteria Lane.
  • A man was reportedly trying to sell a boombox for $5 at 4:28 p.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of Summit Avenue.
  • A rock was thrown through a window at 8:52 p.m. Sunday in the 1900 block of Madison Street.
  • Police assisted the Pewaukee Police Department take a person into custody for a domestic disturbance at 4:27 a.m. Monday in the 500 block of Bluemound Road.
