Police Report: Car Rolls into Elementary School; Plastic Tree Set on Fire

Waukesha Police Department calls from April 13 and April 14.

An unknown person started a plastic decorative tree on the back of a patio on fire at 4:24 p.m. Wednesday in the 2100 block of Kensington Drive. The fire damaged the building and some personal property.

  • A person was cited to stop at a stop sign at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday at Jays Lane and South Grandview Boulevard.
  • A person was cited for emission suspension at 8:28 a.m. Wednesday at Mandan Drive and Cambridge Avenue.
  • A student was cited for using tobacco products at Waukesha North High School.
  • A person was arrested for truancy at 8:46 a.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of Born Place.
  • A person was cited to stop at a stop sign at 8:48 a.m. Wednesday at Jays Lane and South Grandview Boulevard.
  • The South Street parking ramp was tagged with graffiti overnight, which was reported at 9:25 a.m. Wednesday.
  • A person was cited for traveling 38 mph in a 25 mph zone at 10:09 a.m. Wednesday at Hyde Park and Summit avenues.
  • A fraud by contractor incident was reported at 10:32 a.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of Larchmont Drive.
  • A person was cited for operating after revocation at 10:37 a.m. Wednesday at Orchard and Summit avenues.
  • A person was cited for traveling 38 mph in a 25 mph zone at 11:12 a.m. Wednesday at Hyde Park and Summit avenues.
  • A person was cited for traveling 38 mph in a 25 mph zone at 11:28 a.m. Wednesday at Hyde Park and Summit avenues.
  • A person was cited for traveling 40 mph in a 25 mph zone at 11:48 a.m. Wednesday at Hyde Park and Summit avenues.
  • A person was cited for traveling 38 mph in a 25 mph zone at 12:21 p.m. Wednesday at Hyde Park and Summit avenues.
  • A car rolled out of gear and into Hawthorne Elementary School at 4:46 p.m. Wednesday.
  • A man was arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Five Points in the downtown.
  • An employee of a store in the 2100 block of Silvernail Road was arrested for retail theft at 8:01 p.m. Wednesday.
  • A theft was reported at 9:12 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of Woodward Street.
  • A nurse was head butted and knocked unconscious at 9:36 p.m. Wednesday at Waukesha Memorial Hospital by a patient was under an emergency detention.
  • A noise complaint was filed at 9:37 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of West Main Street. The establishment had been playing live music and had the door propped open. The door was then closed.
  • A woman who was not fully clothed took off running from Waukesha Memorial Hospital at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday. Police found the woman, who was under a police hold, and returned her to the hospital.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 12:55 a.m. Thursday at West Laflin and South Grand avenues.
