UPDATED Police Report: Car Catches on Fire; Nazi Signs

Waukesha Police Department calls from Aug. 6 and Aug. 7.

A car caught on fire at 3:02 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Madison Street. Waukesha Battalion Chief Joe Hoffman said no one was injured in the fire.

In other Waukesha Police Department calls:

  • Nazi signs and a name were etched into a sidewalk at 9:36 a.m. Saturday at Madison and Third streets.
  • Two cigars were stolen at 12:32 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of West Sunset Drive.
  • Lug nuts were stolen off a vehicle at 1:25 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of West Broadway.
  • A person was advised for open intoxicants at 5:15 p.m. Saturday at Corrina Boulevard and North Barstow Street.
  • A person was arrested after it was reported the person bit a neighbors finger and thumb at 6:12 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of North Hine Avenue.
  • A person was advised for open intoxicants at 6:24 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Bank Street.
  • A fight was reported at 7:55 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Williams Street.
  • A person reported having problems with juveniles at 8:41 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of South Comanche Lane.
  • A man was arrested after it was reported that he punched his girlfriend and took off with their two kids at 8:56 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of South Grand Avenue.
  • A combative person was arrested at 12:02 a.m. Sunday at Frame and South Grand avenues.
  • Two women told police that an unknown man solicited them for sex at 12:39 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of West Sunset Drive. The man was gone before police arrived.
  • Four juveniles were cited at 1:59 a.m. Sunday in the 700 block of South Grand Avenue.
  • A battery was reported at 3:28 a.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of Big Bend Road.
  • An intoxicated person was arrested at 4:44 a.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of West St. Paul Avenue.
