Police Report: Caller Thinks Drugs Were Planted in Room; Wrestling Teens

Waukesha Police Department calls from Oct. 10 and Oct. 11.

  • The theft of copper wire from a building at 8:37 a.m. Monday in the 500 block of Summit Avenue.
  • A caller reported at 8:51 a.m. Monday that someone gave the caller drugs or planted drugs in the caller’s apartment. The caller asked police to respond to the 1000 block of Pewaukee Road to check for drugs. The issue was handled by the Waukesha Fire Department.
  • A person was arrested on warrants for operating while suspended at 8:58 a.m. Monday in the 2200 block of North Grandview Boulevard.
  • Five juveniles were reportedly wrestling at 3:32 p.m. Monday at East Street and North Grandview Boulevard. A caller reported that the caller was unsure if the teens were playing or being serious. The caller also said she saw them hold up a pistol to another teens head but she was unsure if it was a gun. Police responded and learned there was no gun – real or fake. One teen was taken into custody after he had been reported missing.
  • A theft of a bike was reported at 3:54 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of West Newhall Avenue.
  • A school bus driver was cited at 4:09 p.m. Monday at Tomahawk Lane and Fleetfoot Drive after the bus was reportedly reckless.
  • An intoxicated man was found passed out in his driveway at 5:01 p.m. Monday in the 1500 block of Blackhawk Trail.
  • A person was taken into custody on a warrant at 8:30 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of West Main Street.
  • A person was cited for loitering at 8:49 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of East St. Paul Avenue after it was reported he was sleeping on rocks near Waukesha Metro Transit. Police noted he may have been under the influence and the man was transported to Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
  • A person was arrested after a possible burglary was reported at 9:52 p.m. Monday in the 1000 block of Caroline Street.
  • Police were asked to escort a man from a residence at 12:50 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Tenny Avenue.
  • A person was arrested at 3:10 a.m. Tuesday at East Broadway and North East Avenue.
  • A person reportedly was prowling in a back yard at 4:04 a.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of Butler Drive. The subject was gone before police arrival.
  • A man was reportedly sleeping in the gazebo at 4:23 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Bank Street.
  • A man told police that he wanted to file a complaint against the Waukesha County district attorney, Waukesha Memorial Hospital emergency room, Waukesha County Mental Health, the Waukesha County Jail and others for “mistreatment at 4:44 a.m. Tuesday at Corrina Boulevard and North Barstow Street. Police have had multiple contacts with the man during the past week. Police advised the man that they could not file a report without sufficient evidence. The man had been continuously calling Waukesha County dispatch earlier in the evening and had been escorted to Waukesha Memorial Hospital for a foot issue at 11:47 p.m. Monday.
  • A man was warned to keep the noise down after police were able to hear him complaining about a radio that wasn’t working at 6:25 a.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of Delafield Street. Police were called to the residence for a report of a man yelling and throwing things in an apartment.
