Police Report: Burglaries; Theft of Pain Meds

Waukesha Police Department calls from July 5 and July 6.

The following calls were reported to the Waukesha Police Department:

  • The theft of pain medication was reported at 12:56 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of East Park Avenue.
  • A person was arrested after it was reported an employee was stealing from a business at 4:55 p.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of West Sunset Drive.
  • A house fire was reported at 7:07 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of Lawndale Avenue.
  • A burglary was reported at 7:17 a.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of Westowne Avenue. The residence’s door was not locked.
  • A woman was arrested after a fight was reported at 7:54 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of North Moreland Boulevard.
  • A possible burglary report at 9:12 p.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of Patrick Lane was a false alarm after a well-meaning caller reported that it appeared the back door was busted while the home residents were out of town.
  • A man reportedly was going through recycling bins at 9:33 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of Arcadian Avenue.
  • A burglary was reported at 11:53 p.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of Macarthur Road. A TV, computer, passport, engagement ring and Bluray player were reported missing.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 1:46 a.m. Wednesday at West Main and Clinton streets.
