Police Report: Burglaries; Public Urination

Waukesha Police Department calls from Dec. 23 and Dec. 24.

The following information was supplied by the  Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

  • A burglary was reported at 6:33 a.m. Friday in the 2200 block of Badger Court.
  • The theft of packages/mail from a hallway was reported at 7:43 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of Hinman Avenue.
  • A possible burglary was reported at 11:36 a.m. Friday in the 1600 block of South West Avenue.
  • A burglary was reported at 11:50 a.m. Friday to a business in the 200 block of Maple Avenue.
  • Storage units were broken into at 4:06 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Hoover Avenue.
  • Children reportedly were playing near a pond at 4:13 p.m. Friday in the 1800 block of East Sunset Drive. The caller was concerned due to the thin sheet of ice.
  • A person was arrested at 6:38 p.m. Friday during a traffic stop at South Prairie Avenue and West Sunset Drive.
  • A person was arrested at 12:53 a.m. Saturday at West Main and North Barstow streets during a traffic stop.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 1:16 a.m. Saturday at Rivera Drive and South Grand Avenue.
  • A woman was warned about public urination at 2:09 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of West Main Street.
  • A person was detained and then released after he was seen shoving another person at 2:21 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of Friedman Drive.
  • A person who was trying to get into cars that were parked at 2:23 a.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of Dixie Drive yelled at another person to stop chasing him or the suspect would shoot him. No weapon was observed. The man fled from the area.
  • A person stole two doughnuts and two sandwiches at 5:18 a.m. Saturday from the 900 block of West St. Paul Avenue.
