Police Report: Broken Glasses, Woman Assaulted by Other Women

Waukesha Police Department calls from Feb. 26 and Feb. 27

A woman at 7:07 a.m. Saturday in the 800 block of North East Avenue reported she believed that her apartment was being burglarized because her glasses were broken and her fan was making noise.

In other calls:

  • A person was arrested after it was reported two people were being threatened at 11 a.m.  Saturday in the 2600 block of North University Drive.
  • A woman reported being battered the night before by a group of other woman, with the main suspect being from Carroll University.  The incident was reported at 12:17 p.m. Saturday at Carroll and North Barstow streets. An ambulance was called for the woman’s injuries.
  • Police were asked to assist a confused, elderly woman who drove to a business at 2:01 p.m. Saturday in the 2300 block of East Moreland Boulevard but then did not know where her home was.
  • A man was reported to be acting oddly at a bus stop and screaming obscenities at himself at 4:57 p.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of Silvernail Road.
  • A truck collided with a gas pump at 5:40 p.m. Saturday in the 2500 block of North Grandview Boulevard.
  • A man was removed from Walmart, 2000 S. West Ave., after he knocked over a display case because he wanted somebody to help him at 6:53 p.m. Saturday.
  • Police removed a man from an establishment in the 2500 block of Plaza Court after it was reported he was being disorderly and throwing peanuts at 10:09 p.m. Saturday.
  • A man was arrested after it was reported he threw beer on the roof of a bar at 12:20 a.m. Sunday in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue.
  • A group of people who were using a leaf blower to blow snow were advised by police to use shovels the rest of the night at 3:03 a.m. Sunday in the 2400 block of Springdale Road.
  • A person who was sleeping in a vehicle at Walmart, 2000 S. West Ave., for more than an hour was moved along by police at 5:27 a.m. Sunday.
