Police Report: Boot Found in Gutter; Smashing Dishes

Waukesha Police Department calls from Nov. 13 and Nov. 14.

  • A woman’s boot was found in the gutter near the Fox River Parkway at 8:05 a.m. Sunday.
  • A person who had the word “whore” written in pink lipstick earlier reported at 10:03 a.m. Sunday that someone wrote the word “slap” in the dust of the vehicle in the 200 block of Madison Street.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 4:21 p.m. Sunday at East Broadway and Pleasant Street.
  • CDs were stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight at 5:53 p.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of Wilshire Place.
  • A woman was warned after it was reported she left her 3-year-old child in the vehicle while she was inside Taco John’s, 317 N. Grand Ave., eating at 6:10 p.m. Sunday. The woman was “indifferent” toward police, didn’t think she was wrong and said she “doesn’t make a practice” of leaving the children in the car.
  • An elderly man reportedly was sleeping in his vehicle at 7 p.m. Sunday in the 900 block of Fleetfoot Drive. The man told police when they responded that he had gotten up early that morning and closed his eyes before going into Kwik Trip for milk. The man told police he felt fine after he purchased the milk.
  • A woman reported at 7:05 p.m. Sunday that she was afraid to go into her house because there was an occupied vehicle with flashers on in the 3400 block of Summit Avenue next to her house. Police responded and learned that the vehicle had ran out of gas and another person was responding with a gas can.
  • A woman reported at 8:06 p.m. Sunday that she believed she was being harassed in the 1900 block of Bonnie Lane by a person she had kicked out of a homeless shelter a few winters ago. The woman made it safely home.
  • An intoxicated man was arrested at 8:44 p.m. Sunday after he contacted police to complain about the noise his landlord was making in the 300 block of East Main Street.
  • An 18-year-old woman left her mother’s house at 8:48 p.m. Sunday after it  was reported the teen was upset that her mother had asked her to help clean up in the 500 block of Elizabeth Street. The teen reportedly was smashing dishes before police were called.
  • A person was warned about loud music at 9:32 p.m. Sunday in the 900 block of Summit Avenue.
  • People were warned about park hours at 11:50 p.m. Sunday at Horeb Spring Park.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 11:56 p.m. Sunday at Oakdale Drive and Highway 59. A drug recognition expert was called to the scene.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving after it was reported a vehicle drove off a retaining wall at 1:08 a.m. Monday in the 1400 block of South Grand Avenue.
