Police Report: Bikes Stolen; Underage Smoking; Fake $100 Bill

The following calls were made to the Waukesha Police Department:

  • A person was arrested for retail theft at 10:31 a.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of East Sunset Drive. Employees of the business reportedly were fighting with the suspect.
  • The theft of two bikes was reported at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of Scott Avenue.
  • A person was taken into custody after fleeing from police on foot at 12:22 p.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of South West Avenue.
  • A person attempted to pass a fake $100 bill at 12:52 p.m. Tuesday in the 2300 block of West St. Paul Avenue.
  • Police spoke with the parent of a juvenile who was caught at 3:58 p.m. Tuesday with a smoked cigarette in the 400 block of Spring Street.
  • A group of juveniles reportedly were pretending to pull string across the road and causing drivers to stop at 6:01 p.m. Tuesday in the 1100 block of Motor Avenue.
  • Six juveniles had their two cans of spraypaint destroyed by police with the juveniles permission at 6:21 p.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of White Rock Avenue. Police interviewed the juveniles about the recent acts of vandalism in the area.
  • A person reported at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday that there has been a man prowling around the property for a few weeks and found Tuesday that a garage window was broken in the 1500 block of North Bel-ayr Drive. No complaint was filed. Β
