Police Report: Bicyclist Hit; Man Passed out in Yard

Waukesha Police Department calls from July 11 and early July 12.

The following calls were reported to the Waukesha Police Department:

  • A theft of items from a vehicle was reported at 7:12 a.m. Monday in the 500 block of West Dunbar Avenue.
  • A vehicle was entered overnight and the incident was reported at 8:23 a.m. Monday  in the 600 block of South Grand Avenue.
  • A bicyclist was transported to the hospital after receiving a laceration on the arm at 12:30 p.m. Monday when a vehicle clipped the back tire of the bike at West Moreland Boulevard and West St. Paul Avenue.
  • A theft from a vehicle was reported at 12:53 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of West Dunbar Avenue.
  • A man reported at 5:04 p.m. Monday in the 1300 block of South East Avenue that a phone call that claimed the man owed $3,000 in phone bills was suspicious because the person on the other line correctly pronounced the man’s name. Police warned the man about the spam phone call.
  • A home was burglarized between 5:30 p.m. and 9:06 p.m. Monday in the 700 block of Michigan Avenue.
  • A man who was found passed out in a lawn at Madison and Fourth streets at 12:39 a.m. Tuesday while wearing a hospital bracelet was taken to the emergency room. A caller reported finding a bottle of liquor next to the man, but the caller poured out the alcohol so the man could not have
