Police Report: Balloons Popped; Biking into a Tree

  • A 16-year-old student reported receiving harassing messages from another student at 9:59 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of North Moreland Boulevard. The school resource officer and the school are handling the situation.
  • An intoxicated person was reportedly walking in traffic at 11:43 a.m. Sunday at Madison and North streets.
  • The theft of coins was reported at 12:15 p.m. Sunday in the 600 block of Linden Street.
  • An iPhone was stolen at 12:43 p.m. Sunday in the 600 block of East College Avenue.
  • A car with a loud stereo was reported at 1:59 p.m. Sunday at Waverly Place and West College Avenue.
  • A man was biking and crashed into a tree after his hat fell over his eyes at 2:36 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of South East Avenue.
  • A person was detained by police at 3:35 p.m. Sunday after a hit-and-run accident was reported at the Waukesha Public Library.
  • A loud noise complaint was made at 5:04 p.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of South Prairie Avenue.
  • A verbal family fight was reported at 5:39 p.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of Summit Avenue.
  • A theft of a credit card number was reported at 7:18 p.m. Sunday in the 2800 block of Apple Tree Court.
  • People who were having a party were advised at 8:52 p.m. Sunday after it was reported they were loudly popping balloons in the 1800 block of South Grand Avenue.
  • A person reported that rude comments were made from a Facebook account that was not from the person who held the account at 9:55 p.m. Sunday in the 900 block of Hinman Avenue.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 1:55 a.m. Monday at Madison and Clinton streets.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 2:08 a.m. Monday in the 900 block of North Grandview Boulevard after the person was driving about 90 miles per hour and then crashed.
