Police Report: Arguing Over Soda; Stealing Camera Equipment

Waukesha Police Department calls from Jan. 25 and Jan. 26.

  • A theft of a wallet was reported at 8:44 a.m. Wednesday at Goodwill, 1400 Nike Drive.
  • A faint odor of marijuana was reported at 9:11 a.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of Cambridge Avenue.
  • A bag of change was stolen from a car at 10:24 a.m. Wednesday in the 2000 block of Cliff-alex Court South.
  • A student was arrested at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday after it was reported that the student was being disruptive at Waukesha North High School.
  • A 6-year-old student was out of control at Hadfield Elementary School at 2:09 p.m. Wednesday.
  • An arrest was made after a theft of an iPod was reported at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday at Butler Middle School.
  • A burglary to a storage locker was reported at 4:23 p.m. Wednesday in the 1700 block of South West Avenue.
  • A theft of a sign was reported at 4:58 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of East Laflin Avenue.
  • A burglary was reported at 7:02 p.m. Wednesday in the 1700 block of Erin Lane.
  • A homeless man reportedly stole camera equipment from a car at 7:19 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of East Sunset Drive and wanted a reward for its return. However, the man planned to give the camera equipment back no matter if he got the reward, and the items were returned to its owner. The owner did not file a complaint.
  • A person was detained on a warrant at 9:07 p.m. Wednesday in the 2400 block of North Grandview Boulevard.
  • Two people were arguing about soda at 9:37 p.m. Wednesday in the 1800 block of West St. Paul Avenue but a caller reported to the police department hearing the two people yelling about a gun.
  • A person was arrested during a traffic stop at 12:47 a.m. Thursday at West Sunset Drive and South West Avenues.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 2:43 a.m. Thursday at Madison and East North streets.
