Police Report: A Counterfeit $100 Bill and Chucking Snowballs at a Bus

Waukesha Police Department Calls from Jan. 23 and Jan. 24

A counterfeit $100 bill was reported to have been passed at Waukesha South High School, 401 E. Roberta Ave. Police were called to the school at 1 p.m. Sunday because staff believed the suspect was at the school but then realized it was not the same person.

A bus driver reported that a juvenile was throwing snowballs at a bus at 2:39 p.m. Sunday at Manhattan Drive and Greenway Terrace. Police checked the location but the juvenile was gone before police arrived.

• An ambulance was called to the 1000 block of Pewaukee Road for a 14-year-old boy who drank a bottle of vodka at 4:14 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Pewaukee Road. The incident was reported to the boy’s mother by the boy’s sister because both children were with their father for the weekend.  An ordinance citation was given.

 • A person was arrested on a suspicion of intoxicated driving after a car accident was reported at 6:29 p.m. Sunday at Northview and Airport roads. At least one person was injured and one of the vehicles took out a fence at the airport.

 • A person was arrested for bail jumping during a traffic report during a traffic stop at 6:39 p.m. Sunday at Perkins Avenue and East Main Street.

 • An attempted strong-armed robbery was reported at 9:41 p.m. Sunday at Niagara Street and Manhattan Drive. No weapons were displayed during the incident.

 • A man was advised by police after he was caught riffling through a post office’s dumpster at 9:44 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of East Broadway.

 • A verbal altercation was reported inside an apartment building at 11:46 p.m. Sunday in the 700 block of Clinton Street.
