Sunday and Monday, March 20 and 21

Police were called to the scene of a domestic disturbance in the 1400 block of Big Bend Road early Monday morning. The caller reported that she had been involved in an argument with her ex boyfriend and that he became physical. He then left the scene. The caller said she tried dialing 911 several times during the incident but he kept grabbing phone from her. He also threatened to burn her place down with the kids inside.

 Police responded a robbery in progress in the 1100 block of Gertrude Street Sunday evening. The caller told police that she had gone outside and two men, one of whom may have been her ex boyfriend, had grabbed her and tried to force in her in her car, striking her head against her car, causing her blacking out. She reported that the men took her car, purse and cell phone and were then driving up and down the road. The vehicle was found and two men were taken into custody.

 A resident in the 100 block South Grand Avenue returned to her apartment Sunday night and discovered that someone had spray painted "KKK" across their doors. A 14-year-old boy was home alone when it happened and was frightened. An incident report was filed by police.

Police were called about a noise complaint in the 1000 block of White Rock Avenue about 9 p.m. Sunday night. The caller told police that there was a loud party with several people and possible drug smoking. The caller also told police that there was baby in the apartment and the tenant had been served with an eviction notice. A person was taken into custody by police.

Police were called to the 2400 block of Kestrel Lane Sunday evening when the caller reported that their son was breaking into the house, demanding money and refusing to leave. He was taken into custody.

 Police reported to a domestic disturbance in the 900 block East Moreland Boulevard Sunday afternoon. The caller reported that her ex-boyfriend had come to her house and wanted to see the children, kicking and pounding on the door, trying to get in. She told police that he threatened to kill her and also kept calling. When police went to the suspect’s house, an uncooperative male answered, stating he's not there and he was not going to speak with officers. He was taken into custody.
