Ice Sculpture Vandalism Witnessed by Police

A Waukesha police officer saw a man kick over an ice sculpture and break it in two pieces, according to a criminal complaint.

Men who vandalized a downtown ice sculpture could have gone unnoticed, if it weren't for the police officer watching from nearby. 

Three young men were arrested after a Waukesha police officer spotted one of them kicking over a sculpture in the 300 block of West Main Street at 1:50 a.m. Friday, breaking it in half, according to a criminal complaint.

Martin Dominguez, 23, was charged with two counts of felony bail jumping. Jarrett A. Goodloe, 24, and Raul Perez, 23, were cited for disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property.

According to the criminal complaint:

The police officer reported after one of the men broke the sculpture, he picked up half of it and threw it into the middle of the street where it broke again. The complaint didn’t indicate which man broke the sculpture.

Dominguez, who was on bail for possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, told the Waukesha officer he had a few drinks that night, despite having a no-drink order as a condition of bail. His blood alcohol concentration was 0.1 percent.
