Police Arrest 3 for Armed Robbery Involving Knife

Cigarettes and money were reportedly stolen Tuesday morning.

Three people are in custody after an armed robbery involving a knife was reported at 10:56 a.m. Tuesday.

The received a call about the robbery at West Roberta and Scott avenues where a person told officers that the person was receiving a ride from a man and woman and the man robbed the person at knife point, according to a news release from Capt. Ron Oremus.

Cigarettes and money were stolen before the couple left, according to the release. Officers located the suspect vehicle at 329 Dodie Drive. Three people exited the residence and were taken into custody by police.

The incident remains under investigation and police are not yet releasing the suspects’ names.
