A Waukesha police officer was monitoring the male-for-male causal encounters section of Craigslist, when he spotted an ad placed by Bautista. The officer posed as a 15-year-old boy and began emailing Bautista.

Bautista said he was 24 years old and after a few email exchanges in which the officer again mentioned being 15, they agreed to meet at an area business. When Bautista arrived, he sent a text message that he was there and he was placed under arrest.

Bautista admitted he knew the person he was talking to claimed to be 15 and he was planning to meet up with him so he could perform oral sex on the boy. He told police he turned around after leaving his house, but then decided to meet with the boy anyway.

He’s currently free on $2,500 bond while awaiting trial.
