PHOTOS: Waukesha, Sussex Firefighters Assist with Pewaukee Apartment Fire
Hot day for firefighters to battle blaze in residential neighborhood.
No injuries or fatalities were reported when a fire damaged a Pewaukee apartment building at W243-N2309 Deerpark Drive, according to Pewaukee Fire Chief Kevin Bierce.
The fire, which occurred in a residential neighborhood, brought a mutual aid response from neighboring communities, including Waukesha and Sussex fire departments.
Limited details were available at the scene and Bierce said the fire department was still assessing the damage.

Meanwhile, on a hot day in Waukesha County, the firefighters were doing what they could to cool off, including dumping water on each other’s heads after the fire was put out.
