Motorcycle Driver Taken By Helicopter to Froedtert

A man was severely injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred at 2:33 p.m. Monday in the 700 block of Bluemound Road, Battalion Chief Joe Hoffman said.

The man was transported to Froedtert Hospital by Flight for Life, which had to come from Fond du Lac. Flight for Life landed on the airport near Bluemound Road, Hoffman said.

Hoffman did not have an update on the man’s condition but said the man was being treated for full trauma.

“He had some serious injuries to his leg,” Hoffman said. “He was not wearing a helmet.”
