Man Tells Police He's Scared of Muslims; Drunken Driving; Domestic Disturbances

Waukesha Police Department calls from May 9 through May 12.

When a man reported he was beat up by people at a bar, Waukesha police officers discovered he had been less than truthful during his call to dispatchers.

A man reported at 12:57 a.m. Saturday that he had been battered in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police made contact at the bar, where they told he was refused service because he was intoxicated and he spat at a person while he left the bar. When police talked with him, they learned he was not battered but was scared of some people because he believed they were Muslims.
