Neighbors Grabbed By Man They Met at Waukesha Pool, Police Say

A Waukesha man on bail for a 2011 sex assault charge is accused of accosting two 28-year-old women after meeting them at an apartment complex swimming pool.

Yojenny A. Rondon Baez, 21, was charged Thursday in Waukesha County Circuit Court with second degree sexual assault with the use of force, lewd and lascivious behavior and two counts of bail jumping. He faces nearly 32 years in prison and $130,000 in fines if convicted of the latest charges. He remains jailed in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Two different women who lived in an apartment complex in the 2400 block of Springdale Road reported Rondon Baez had met them in the pool. He tried to pursue a romantic relationship with both of the women this summer, but both women turned down his advances, according to the complaint.

One woman told Waukesha police she was swimming in the complex’s pool when Rondon Baez grabbed her from behind and rubbed on her in a sexual matter, the criminal complaint states. After he let her go, he continued to harass her and pound on her apartment door.

The other woman told Waukesha police she had spotted Rondon Baez hiding in a bush outside her apartment, looking into her window, according to the complaint. The woman also returned home from working the night shift one morning and went to bed. Soon after, she saw Rondon Baez walk into her bedroom.

On another occasion, the woman reported Rondon Baez grabbed her, pushed her against a hallway in the apartment building, kissed her and pulled out his penis, telling her he was going to make him scream, according to the complaint. The woman, who told police she was scared, was able to run away.

Rondon Baez is on bail after being accused of sexually assaulting a then 17-year-old classmate in June 2011 while on a walk during their lunch break near Waukesha South High School.
