Man Found Unconscious, Charged With Drug Possession

A Waukesha man is accused of having 14 bindles of heroin with him when he overdoses on drugs in his home, according to a criminal complaint.

A 26-year-old Waukesha man is accused of overdosing on heroin after he went and bought 16 bindles of the drug in Milwaukee.

Ryan D. Allen was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court last week with one count of possession of narcotic drugs. If convicted, he faces up to 1 Β½ years in prison and $10,000 in fines.

At 4:28 p.m. Nov. 28, Waukesha police officers were called to a residence in the 1200 block of Wilshire Place after Allen had gone unconscious after injecting heroin. When police and rescue officials arrived, they found Allen unconscious in a chair and revived him with Narcan.

Allen was searched and officers found 14 bindles of heroin on him. He said he purchased 16 in Milwaukee earlier and injected two of them.

Allen is currently being held in Waukesha County Jail on $1,000 bond.Β
