Man Facing Prison for Having a Tec 9 in Waukesha Bar in March

Robles, 30, was found guilty on four of five counts Friday and will be sentenced Monday.

Waukesha resident Miguel Robles, Jr. is facing a possible prison sentence for taking a gun into a crowded Waukesha bar in March.

Robles, 30, was found guilty Friday on one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm, one count of carrying a handgun into an establishment where alcohol is sold and consumed, one count of bail jumping and one count of disorderly conduct. He was found not guilty on one charge of intentionally pointing a firearm at another person.

Robles was charged after he was involved in an in March at George’s Sports Bar, 409 Delafield St., Waukesha where a bouncer alleged Robles had pulled a gun after fighting with a woman at the bar.

The bouncer stated Robles got into an argument with him and then pointed a fully loaded Tec 9 at him while the two were in a bathroom. The gun was later recovered by officers wrapped in a sweatshirt in an oven in the kitchen of the bar.

Robles will be sentenced July 11 by Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge Kathleen Stilling. He also has a pending charge of second offense possession of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, which is scheduled for a hearing during the sentencing.
