Man Charged With Stealing Lottery Tickets From Waukesha Gas Station
Suspect stole hundreds of dollars worth of lottery tickets on four separate occasions by reaching over the counter and taking them, according to criminal complaint.
A 26-year-old Waukesha man is facing multiple charges after he was accused of stealing lottery tickets on several occasions at an area gas station.
Eddie Patlan was charged in on Friday with four counts of retail theft and four counts of felony bail jumping. If convicted, he faces up to 27 years in prison and $80,000 in fines.

On Aug. 5, 6, 8 and 9, Patlan stole lottery tickets from BP, 500 Arcadian Ave., by reaching behind the counter and grabbing them. During the first incident, he took $213 worth of tickets within an hour period, the second theft he took another $205 in tickets.
During the third theft, Patlan took $73 worth of tickets and the final theft he took $67 in tickets.

Patlan admitted to the theft to police and told them he took about 20 $5 lottery tickets.
Patlan will make his initial appearance in court Dec. 5. Β
