A 23-year-old Waukesha man is facing charges after he was caught snorting drugs at a computer station in the .
Christopher L. Reistad was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Thursday with three counts of felony bail jumping and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. If convicted, he faces up to 18 years in prison.
According to the criminal complaint:
At 3:41 p.m. Wednesday, a library employee noticed Reistad sitting by a computer and snorting white powder with a dollar bill. The employee told police Reistad was disoriented and appeared to by passing out at the station as well.
When police arrived Reistad attempted to leave but was stopped. Reistad told police he was snorting vitamin D with the dollar bill in order to treat a skin condition.
He was placed under arrest and officers found drug paraphernalia inside a backpack he was carrying with.
