Man Charged with Smashing Window on St. Paul Ave
Suspect allegedly upset about pool game.
A 35-year-old Waukesha man is facing charges after he allegedly smashed out a window of a Waukesha business on Sunday while drinking.
Timothy E. O’Brien was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Monday with one count of criminal damage to property and one count of misdemeanor bail jumping for breaking a window at Karen for Hair, 108 E. St. Paul Ave., Waukesha.
According to the criminal complaint, at 12:46 a.m. Sunday, a Waukesha police officer was on patrol in a squad car near the business when he heard glass smashing. When the officer looked to his right, O’Brien was standing in front of the broken window, according to the complaint.

According to the complaint, O’Brien admitted to smashing the window and told officers he had done it after he got mad while playing pool in a bar and his beer got knocked over so he went outside.
The complaint states that O’Brien had a blood alcohol level of 0.08 at the time of the incident.

If convicted, he faces up to 18 months in prison and $20,000 in fines.
