On Aug. 5, Williams went with another man to Horeb Park where a friend wanted to purchase a quarter-ounce of marijuana. However, the man purchasing the drugs was working as a police informant.
Williams was interviewed by police on Feb. 23 and told officers he remembered going to the park, but denied being a drug dealer. He said he would let people smoke with him if they gave him money and it was a rare occurrence for someone to take the drugs with them.
