Man Charged with Punching Security Guard at Friday Night Live

Drunk suspect was being removed for causing a scene and told officers a fake name, according to criminal complaint.

A 26-year-old Waukesha man is facing charges after he punched a security guard and told officers a fake name while being arrested at Freeman Friday Night Live, according to a criminal complaint.

Patrick Tully was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Monday with one count of disorderly conduct and one count of resisting an officer. If convicted, he faces up to one year in prison and $11,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint, Tully was extremely intoxicated by a music stage near Magellan’s Bar near West Main Street and Maple Avenue and creating a scene. He was kneeling near some speakers and when security guards tried to remove him, Tully punched one of them in the face.

When officers interviewed Tully - who was wearing a No. 23 Chicago Bulls jersey - he told them his name was “Patrick Jordan 23,” the complaint states He began to resist arrest and tried to kick towards officers.

Tully was assigned a $1,000 signature bond Monday.
