Man Charged with Pulling Gun on Bouncer in Waukesha Bar

A 30-year-old man allegedly pulled a Tec 9 after fight with woman.

A 30-year-old Waukesha man was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Monday after he allegedly pulled a gun in a Waukesha bar Thursday night.

Miguel A. Robles Jr. is charged with one count of possession of a firearm by a felon, one count of pointing a firearm at another, one count of carrying a handgun where alcohol is sold and consumed, one count of bail jumping and one count of disorderly conduct for the incident at George’s Sports Bar, 409 Delafield St., Waukesha.

If convicted, he faces up to 13 years in prison and $56,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint, officers were called to George’s last Thursday night after Robles allegedly pulled a gun on a bouncer who broke up a fight between Robles and a woman.

The complaint states that the bouncer told Robles to settle down and have a drink, but Robles then started getting in the bouncer’s face. Robles tried to grab the arms of the bouncer who then grabbed Robles’ arms and pushed him into a bathroom, according to the complaint.

According to the complaint, Robles pulled the gun on the bouncer, but the bouncer grabbed the barrel of the gun and pushed it away from him and then shouted for someone to call the police.

While officers were clearing the bar, the complaint states, an officer found the fully-loaded Tec 9 gun and a sweatshirt in an oven in the kitchen.

Several people in the bar identified Robles as the person who had the gun, the complaint states, and he was taken into custody.

The complaint states Robles was convicted in 2003 in Waukesha County with delivery of cocaine and also has a pending 2010 case which he was currently free on bond.
