Man Charged with Dealing Drugs in Waukesha, Brookfield

Suspect made three different drug deals with undercover officers, according to court documents.

A Milwaukee man is facing multiple charges after he sold undercover investigators crack, marijuana and drywall disguised as crack on three different occasions in Waukesha and Brookfield, according to a criminal complaint.

William Thanadabouth, 24, was charged in Thursday with one count of manufacture and delivery of cocaine, one count of falsely present a non-controlled substance, two counts of maintaining a drug trafficking place, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, and one count of manufacture and delivery of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. If convicted, he faces up to 23 years in prison and $65,500 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint, on Aug. 9, Thanadabouth agreed to sell a confidential informant and undercover police officer crack in the parking lot of a Waukesha business. After the deal took place, officers confirmed the drugs were real, but they had received a lesser amount than agreed upon in the deal.

On Tuesday, Thanadabouth agreed to sell more crack to the undercover officials and met them in the parking lot of Brookfield Square Mall, the complaint states. This time he agreed to weigh out the drugs on a scale, but after the deal took place, officers noticed the drugs appeared to be drywall and not actual cocaine.

The next day Thanadabouth then agreed to sell the officers a half ounce of marijuana and met them again where they performed the transaction and he was then arrested, the complaint states. He’s currently being held in Waukesha County Jail on a $500 cash bond and $2,000 signature bond.
