Man Charged With Child Porn Released on $5K Bail

Waukesha police are continuing its review of computer files on Andrew M. Lambrecht's computer, according to a criminal complaint.

A 21-year-old Waukesha man is accused of having child pornography on his computer, including videos and photos of young boys and girls.

Andrew M. Lambrecht was charged Monday with possession of child pornography. If convicted, he faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted. Lambrecht was released from jail Tuesday on $5,000 bail.

Lambrecht’s IP address was under investigation for downloading and sharing files that are known to contain child pornography, according to a criminal complaint.

An initial review of his computer by Waukesha investigators, who served a search warrant at his home, found that 150 files were viewed May 22 and May 26. Thirteen files are identified as child pornography by the National Center for Missing and Exploited children, the complaint states.

Waukesha police have not completed its review of the computer but thousands of files on the computer were indicative of child pornography, the complaint states.

Lambrecht admitted to downloading the child pornography and told investigators he deleted the images and videos after awhile, according to the complaint.
